Dr. Jeffrey Anderson

Dr. Jeffrey Anderson is a pianist, clarinetist, music director, and pedagogue based in the Southwest Houston area. He serves as the band director and a music instructor at Wharton County Junior College in Wharton, TX. Before moving to Texas, he served in a similar capacity at a Community College in Kansas for seven years. He has been pianist and choir accompanist for many different churches throughout his career in Cincinnati, Kansas City, and Wooster, OH. He has degrees in Music Education, clarinet performance, and a minor in piano performance from Michigan State University, Bowling Green State University, and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He looks forward to meeting everyone at First United Methodist Church of Wharton and working alongside Reverend Gina Gile and choir director Alanna Huggins. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys cooking, traveling, and amusement parks
